Description

The new Lowa Explorer GTX Lo is the latest trekking shoe taking technology and construction from hiking boots down to walking shoes. The most exciting element of the Explorer is the new sole, designed in conjunction with Vibram, offering 5mm rubber lugs married to a new advanced Lightcell PU layer, offering best-in-class cushioning. This new sole makes the Explorer instantly comfortable from new (no breaking in), but is designed so they can also be re-soled in the future. The upper of the shoe has a soft suede with down to the toe lacing, allowing you to taylor the fit to your foot shape easily. A rubber and TPU toe and heel cap offer scuff protection, and a full Gore-Tex lining keeps your feet dry.

Technology

GORE-TEX: Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.
Vibram: Vibram® has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years, offering a variety of rubber blends and sole units to cover each boots specific end use requirements.
Litecell PU: Inspired from trail running, Litecell is an advanced PU midsole technology, providing superior cushioning at a low weight for all day wear
Moderately Stiff: Provides a good balance between optimal support for the foot, and pleasant rolling properties.
Resoleable: This product can be resoled by a specialist (in the UK we recommend Lancashire Sports Repairs). They're constructed in a way where the upper of the footwear is retained, and a new sole can be added to it.
Woman Last: Women's specific last, designed with the anatomy of women's feet in mind, with a differently shaped instep and area around the ball of the foot.

Delivery

There are a range of carriage options to choose from during the checkout process, these will be appropriate for the order weight, size and postcode. An estimated delivery date will also be displayed with each option available. All our couriers collect by 5pm Monday to Friday only.

Please note all couriers aim to deliver in the timeframe stated however this is not a guarantee.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours, you will receive an email confirming your order has been dispatched and this will be followed by another from the courier with more tracking information.

Orders placed after 3pm, over weekends and Bank Holidays are not collected from us until the following working day.

Returns

Return of clothing
All items of clothing must be in a perfect, resalable condition with all labels and tags still attached.

Return of footwear
Ideally all Footwear should be tried on and tested on a clean indoor surface. We will be unable to accept the return of any footwear that has been worn outside.

Do not apply any adhesive tape or returns labels to the outside of any product packaging (shoe box). When this occurs we will return the item to you.

Non-Returnable
There are some goods that we are unable to accept back if you have simply changed your mind, these include; climbing safety equipment, safety headwear (including climbing and snow sports helmets, harnesses etc), underwear, swimwear and consumables such as; food, other perishables and batteries.

Christmas Returns Period
Purchases on and after the 28th November can be returned to us by the 11th January 2026 for refund as per our normal returns policy.

Additional Information
The cost of returns is at the customers expense.

The returned item remains yours and responsibility for it remains with you until it reaches us. For this reason we recommend that you return your order using a recorded delivery method for security purposes and that the service you use covers the value of the goods against loss or damage.
