Delivery Charges

For all orders shipped using DPD, once your order has been collect and scanned you will receive an email confirming your tracking number and an estimated delivery date.

DPD drivers will maintain a 2-metre distance and place your parcel at your doorway

As proof of delivery, they will take a photo of the parcel, with the door open (you do not need to be in the photo)

 

If you are self-isolating you simply need to put a signed note on your door to tell our driver where to leave your parcel

Royal Mail deliveries are un-tracked.

Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Saturday will be dispatched and collected by DPD the same day. Orders placed after 4pm on Saturday may be dispatched throughout the weekend however will not be collected by DPD until Monday.

All courier deliveries within the UK are delivered Monday to Friday (working days) unless a weekend delivery has been requested. All our delivery options will require proof of delivery.

Security & Liability

We aim to process every order as quickly as possible, for this reason once you have confirmed your order we only have a small window in which to cancel it. Once an order has been confirmed we are unable to make any changes to it, this includes combining orders and changes to addresses.

Please ensure that all address information, mobile phone numbers and email address (phone numbers and email address are used to contact with regards to issues with your order and to help with delivery) are entered correctly before confirming your order, we are unable to make any changes to these once your order has been confirmed.

All our couriers ensure that your goods are correctly signed for, ensuring that you order is in safe hands. Outdoor Clothing are unable to accept liability for any delivery instruction issued to the delivery company by the customer. If you leave instructions for the courier requesting your order to be left in a different location (e.g. garage, shed, neighbour etc) we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive your order.

To avoid delays with your order it is important to ensure that the billing and delivery information is correct completed, including your email address and contact phone number as this information is used to aid the delivery process as outlined below.

 

Delivery Process

Once we have processed your order you will received an email from us confirming the successful dispatch of your order.

DPD will contact you via email and SMS text message (if a mobile phone number has been provided) to confirm the time and date for the delivery of your order.

If there is no response when DPD try to deliver then they will leave a card and try again, usually the following day. DPD will re-attempt to deliver your order up two more times, after which it will be returned to Outdoor Clothing.

If your assigned date/time is not convenient, you can reply to the email or SMS to rearrange a more suitable delivery service.

Please note that due to courier restrictions, there are some areas of the UK where we are unable to ship on a next day or weekend delivery service.

 

None Receipt of Goods

 If you have selected next working day delivery and have not received your goods within 2 working days of confirmation of dispatch please contact us. Please note it can take up 24 hours for us to receive an update from our couriers.

If you have selected Hermes 2-3 day delivery and have not received your order with 5 working days of confirmation of dispatch please contact us. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for us to receive an update from our couriers.

 

Other Information

We are unable to accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to circumstances outside of our control, this includes any act or event that is beyond our reasonable control. This includes without limitations strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

We are unable to provide a refund for an order that has been returned to sender if we deem that our couriers made every effort to deliver the item in a timely manner until we receive the order back.
